2 of 5 Basket is sturdy, but clip/attachment is not October 27, 2023

I purchased this Kangaroo Caddy Gear Basket directly from Kangaroo Golf for my Kangaroo Special Edition Golf Motor Caddie.  The clip/attachment to the basket is not sturdy enough to support much weight at all.  Mine actually caused the basket metal to break and made a large hole where it was attached to the clip.  The basket itself is not the problem, it needs more support than the clip can provide.  Maybe they tested it with some lightweight clothing, but that is not what I purchased it for.  Similar baskets that mount on things like knee scooters have better support mechanisms and can hold at least 5-10 lbs.  This one can not.  I'm currently looking for another basket and attachment that will work on my motor caddie.
